Adverbs Defined - Modifying Verbs, Adjectives, and Other Adverbs:

Adverbs are words that primarily function to modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. Unlike adjectives that describe nouns and pronouns, adverbs provide additional information about actions, qualities, or other modifying words. Adverbs add detail about how, when, where, why, to what extent, or under what condition something is done or exists.
